About Zach:
Zach Skow is the founder of Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue and co-creator of the Pawsitive Change Prison Program, initiatives dedicated to saving dogs and transforming lives. After his own recovery from end-stage liver disease, Zach discovered the healing power of the human-animal bond and committed his life to rescuing dogs and creating second chances for both people and pets. Through Marley’s Mutts, he has saved thousands of dogs from euthanasia, and through Pawsitive Change, he has partnered incarcerated individuals with rescue dogs to teach training, compassion, and responsibility. Zach’s work is rooted in the belief that everyone—two- or four-legged—deserves love, purpose, and a chance to thrive.
